Drew Barrymore – the US actress has married boyfriend Will Kopelman in a small intimate ceremony on their estate in Montecito, California.
37-year old Drew is expecting their first child together and was keen to keep the day as private as possible. Despite the media flying over the wedding venue trying to snap the bride in her dress it looks like they were unsuccessful as no pictures have yet emerged. Although there are no pictures to show we do know that the dress was a classic white Chanel dress with muslin and organza pleating that was created for Drew by Karl Lagerfeld.
There were a number of Hollywood stars at the wedding and again they mostly managed to keep away from the cameras by shielding themselves under umbrellas until they were inside the wedding marquee. The other possibility for the secrecy may of course be less romantic and the couple may have signed a big money exclusive deal with a magazine who want to keep all of the details of the day for themselves and their readers.
The hot money is on Cameron Diaz being one of Drew’s bridesmaids on the day. The pair have been great friends for many years and in fact Drew’s art consultant boyfriend even spoke to Cameron about the proposal first. Cameron also went with Drew for her final wedding dress fitting last week.
Drew has been married twice before, most recently to Welsh bar owner Jeremy Thomas in 1994 when she filed for divorce after less than 2 months of marriage and firstly to the Canadian comedian Tom Green in a marriage that lasted less than 6 months.
The actress certainly seems to be much more comfortable this time with her choice of life partner and has also said that she feels very close to Will’s family as well. Talking on the Ellen DeGeneres show Drew said: ”I am as in love with his family as I am with him. Which is an extraordinary sort of gift. You never take that for granted.
“It really is an absolute blessing. I feel very lucky. They’re incredible people.”
Myleene Klass – the singer, pianist and tv presenter has just revealed that her marriage to Graham Quinn is over after just 6 months.
Quinn is said to have walked out on Myleene and their 2 young children on her birthday (06 April). The split was apparently a complete surprise to Myleene who was said to be shattered.
Myleene first came to the public’s attention back in 2001 on tv show Popstars where she became a part of the band Hear’Say along with Kym Marsh, Suzanne Shaw, Danny Foster and Noel Sullivan. They quickly became very popular and had hits with songs such as Pure and Simple and The Way to Your Love. It was during this time with Hear’Say that Myleene met husband Graham while he was employed as a bodyguard for the band.
After Hear’Say broke up Myleene went on to perform classical music which she had been involved with since she was a young girl. She was also involved with presenting classical music on the radio as well as at live performances.
She has appeared on many different tv shows including appearances in the 6th series of I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here in 2006.
Following her exposure in a bikini on IACGMOOH Myleene received many offers to do nude photo shoots including a big money offer from Playboy.
As well as tv, radio and live concert performances Myleene has also appeared on stage with performances of The Vagina Monologues both in the UK and in Serbia.
Myleene has had to put a brave face on things today as she has been hosting the Jubilee Family Festival in Hyde Park along with co-presenter Jon Culshaw.
